My Early Christmas Present

Bike Gallery Office Wall

We saw this bike with birds print at a local shop called We Are 1976. (Sorry, I didn’t get the artist’s name or the actual name of the print. I will post it as soon as I find out.)

It was really expensive – mounted in the frame – but the loose prints were very reasonable. I usually just drool at cool bike art and move on, but this one really spoke to me. From the moment it caught my eye in the window, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. My wife asked if there were any loose prints still available – they checked and told us the one in the frame was the last one. Disappointed, I assumed it wasn’t meant to be.

That wasn’t good enough for my wife, so she asked if they wouldn’t mind removing it from the frame (which, btw, was more expensive than the print). They were more than happy to, and now it hangs on the office wall in my home.

You can read about my other two favorite prints here.

  1. It IS very nice, though I would not be pleased to find so many birds sitting on my real bike.

  2. That is a nifty piece of bike art. I can easily believe that it “spoke” to you. Kudos to your wife for closing the deal.
