hey richard

a rider, of varying degrees, for many years. a friend pointed me to urban velo last year and found you in the most recent issue. i am with you, to each their own, but not much for categories. own a gt arrette i converted to a single speed a couple years ago, a schwinn tweaked for commute and just went over to the dark side with my 2nd road bike (first was 1975-chimo) just this year. i just like to ride.

i am glad i stumbled upon your blog and hope to follow!

thanks for sharing!

Ha! So true. I guess I was comparing it to Plano, Garland and Arlington. Either way, it's nice to call it home.

I'm glad you are enjoying the blog. I just wish I didn't spread myself so thin, so that I could dedicate more time to it.

I appreciate your words. I love riding my bike from point A to point B but don't have the energy to be an uber-bike advocate (and who really listens to them anyway). Bicycling has improved my quality of life and offered practical, money saving advantages that perhaps other people might benefit from. Most importantly it is fun and as long as I continue to have fun with it, other people might also be inspired to give it a try.
