Villy Customs In The Dallas Morning News
Our friends at Fleetwood’s Kit Kat were forced to leave their establishment on Mockingbird Lane because SMU is putting in a tennis center which had been displaced by the new Bush Library along with a power plant and data center for the school (thanks for the update Kevin).
Moved, but not gone. Fleetwood’s has evolved into their already established custom bike brand called Villy Customs. Their new headquarters is based in south Dallas, in the transitioning industrial district on Akard.
If you pick up a copy of today’s local Dallas newspaper, check out the business section and read a great article about Villy Customs and their plans for future growth.
That’s too bad they had to move. I hope the new location is good. The old one was right near the bike trail, which was killer. Anyway, good look to Fleetwood and the crew.

Correction, SMU is actually tearing down the old Mrs. Bairds plant, and the other structures and putting in a tennis center which had been displaced by the new Bush Library along with a power plant and data center for the school.
