Hump Day Pics Of The Week – 64
It’s time to pick the Hump Day Pics Of The Week. Again, thanks goes out to the contributors to the Suburban Assault Flickr Pool.
Sorry this one is a bit late.
It’s been a while since I’ve featured a frequent poster to the Flickr group. This week’s hump day featured contributor is: “gregraisman“. Greg is the Traffic Safety Specialist for the City of Portland, Oregon and his photographs tell an amazing story of his love for bicycles and urban neighborhoods.
From his profile you’ll see that he’s very interested in community building and creative culture. If you are interested in more information about Greg and his city, check out his site, Getting Around Portland. Also, you might want to catch him in this video by Streetfilms: Portland’s Bike Boulevards Become Neighborhood Greenways
I hope you enjoy this set and check back each week to see what shots get picked. Be sure to check out the Flickr page to see all the awesome bike shots shared by our extremely talented contributors.

Thanks, Dick.
I love that two of those photos you picked for the gallery have Peter Koonce in them. About a year ago, Peter became the Manager of our Signals and Street Lighting Division. So, he’s the guy responsible for all of the traffic signals and street lights in Portland.
We just sold each other bikes. He bought my Mundo. Here it is parked outside the office. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gregraisman/5199693360/
…
and I bought his Bakfiets that the girls had grown out of. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gregraisman/5197711584/
