Suburban Rubble
No, this isn’t the result of devastation, but rather, growth. This was once the parking lot of a factory that was located in east Richardson, which had remained empty for as long as we’ve lived here. Although it wasn’t much of an eyesore, it did have the potential to become one. These past couple of years, developers have been converting the area into office parks. It’s not a city park, but I’ll take what I can get.
Now my commute might have some better scenery. I just hope the traffic doesn’t get much worse, because I’ve gotten kind of spoiled having the road mostly to myself.
This is one of the newest buildings – an old factory building with new windows, paint and interior. The lot in front is what just got torn up.
